Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

All Authors are expected to create their 'log in' credentials by following the registration link provided in the header of this webpage upon which you shall be receiving an e-mail with all your necessary details for logging into our sustem. Submissions thereupon can be made following the steps which the system would ask you to do.

However, aiming at any contigency or trouble in uploading your manuscript through the system via log in; we also facilitate the author's submissions by sending a soft copy of the transcript in PC compatible MS Word document format emailed to the editor at: nulawjournal@nirmauni.ac.in

Privacy Statement

All contributors are supposed to send a self attested letter stating the originality and consent of publication in the NU Law Journal. In case of two authors, one of the authors should sign the copyrights of their papers and send a copy to the Editor-In-Chief. All open access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

The use of general descriptive names, trade names, trademarks, and so forth in this publication, even if not specifically identified, does not imply that these names are not protected by the relevant laws and regulations.
